Is there a huge difference between a FICO credit score and the score given by the 3 credit bureaus?
I’ve already gotten my free credit reports from annualcreditreport.com but now I’m looking to monitor my credit score periodically from all three bureaus. I know that FICO is probably the biggest credit score service is their number that much different than what I’d get from the credit score source that Equifax, Experian and TransUnion use?
I just don’t want to pay so much more for nothing. If FICO says my Experian credit score is 700 and I go to Experian.com and their service says my score is 692, I don’t see the difference.
Thanks.

I’m repairing my credit. How can I monitor my credit score periodically from all 3 credit reporting agencies.
I’m 33 years old and in the process of rebuilding my credit from my reckless youth. I’ve paid off almost all my outstanding credit card debt and have a few new cards that I’m doing well with but I would like to watch my credit scores rise from all three reporting agencies (Equifax, TransUnion and Experian).
I know the score has gone up some in the last few months and my ultimate goal is home ownership so I would like to monitor them.
I went to myFICO.com but I believe that is a one-time kind of report/score. I’m looking for updated monitoring. Does anyone know of a RELIABLE company that will do this for me?
Thanks.

How much can a payday loan that reports to the 3 bureaus help my credit score?
I recently saw an offer to get a payday loan that reposts to the big 3 credit agencies.
How much can getting payday loans and paying them off on time REALLY improve my credit score?

when a mortgage company checks your credit score will they do an average of all 3 combined?
i was told that all i needed was a credit score of 600 to qualify. and i only scored above 600 on one of the 3 major score companies( equifax) but the others are very very close to 600. will they do an average of the 3 scores combined?

When is it time to claim bankruptcy?
I am not really sure how it works.. but I am trying to get my boyfriend’s credit back in order.. I did the free credit report thing.. and his score is not that bad, it’s 607.. but he owes about 5 different agencies and it totals about $4,500.
Within those accounts totaling 4500.. there are 2 collection accounts and 3 delinquent. He has one on there from about 7 years ago also. I am new to this myself.. I’m 20 and learning all the nooks and crannies about credit and I want to know how to he can help out his credit now. THANKS!!

Stolen Identity? What to do?
I am a college student of age 18. I recently applied for a Citi credit card but it was rejected saying (in email)
o A garnishment, attachment, foreclosure, collection
action or judgment was recorded on your credit bureau
report.
o A delinquent credit obligation(s), either paid
or unpaid, was recorded on your credit bureau report.
They got the report from Equifax credit information service.
This confuses me for I have never once owned a credit card nor have I had to pay bills or anything of the sort that I would/could be late for.
Stolen Identity?
So I went to annualcreditreport and tried geting my report from all 3 credit bureaus
Experian says We’re sorry. We experienced a system problem and we are unable to provide your personal credit report for online viewing at this time. You may want to try again later.
Transunion has me on a page that says your order is being processed come back in 30 min (its been 6 hours).
With Equifax I get to a page that says this.
We’re sorry, for your protection we are unable to deliver your FACT Act Equifax Free Annual Credit Report on the internet. There are a number of reasons that we may be unable to fulfill your request online. You may have a Security Freeze on your credit file, an Active Duty Military or Fraud Alert, or the identification information submitted online may not match the information on file. The following link will lead you to a form that is not screen-readable at this time.
What do you think? What should I do?
One last thing, On the bottom of the Equifax report it says NOTE: If you have a Security Freeze on your file, you must include your 10 digit PIN along with the information requested above. Where can I find my 10 digit pin and what exactly is it?

How do I make sure all 3 agencies remove items?
I filed a claim against 14 creditors on my credit report through Transunion and received notice a week later that all 14 had been deleted. I ordered a new report from Transunion and sure enough, GONE! How do I make sure that Equifax and Experian do the same? Do I have to submit a request to them individually or will it be removed based on the outcome of my initial request with Transunion? Whats the least expensive way to make these changes if I have to go in an report again, I already used up my free reports for this year.
The items in question was for credit obtained when I was 14-16 years of age. Mostly 15. I am not bound by this as I was a minor and unable to enter in a contract of this nature. The credit was stolen by a step-father who is no longer in the picture.
