free 3 credit report – rating score

How do I dispute the fact that i never used cell phones sent to me, and want it to be removed from my report?

I had signed up for 2 free cell phone from Cingular. When the phones finally arrived I was away at college. ATT billed me for 3 months while i was away and now my credit report shows a deliquency.

    Hate to tell you this but when you ordered the phones you agreed to their terms and conditions even if you never used the phones.

    You might try a goodwill letter to Cingular offering to pay the bill in full and ask that they remove the delinquency.

    Most likely will not work since the information is correct but it’s worth a try since your going to have to pay it anyway.

    You signed up for them so you are responsible for paying for them. Pay the bill and ask them to report the debt paid.

    When you got the phones you probably agreed to a 1-2 year contract in order to get the phones free. I am afraid that the contract is binding.
