I stayed away for years from these scams
I was on that Dolans site from an aol article
they say get a free report at annual credit report
it gives me 3 choices
The information I received was useless things I knew
it sums up all the credit cards and loans I have and have had
No credit score??
Honestly
What am I supposed to get out of this
I noticed only the site I chose gave even this free, the other charged and the other would have
All the options were full of tricks to steal money from you
Even the one I had chose had the
little tiny
“No Thanks I’d like my Free report”
hidden way below the other options
but I’m really angry
I guess because I don’t see what use my report is
I think I have great credit but why no score
am I the only one who believed my credit score would be listed in my credit report
Is there a way to calculate it
lol
sorry.
i’m wicked heated, I hate being scammed and tricked

By Law in the US the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) entitles you to receive a free credit report once per year, that does not include your credit score.
What you are supposed to “get out of this” is being able to view what is reported on your credit report and the ability to dispute any inaccurate information listed on your report.
If you want to purchase your credit score, you can for the fees that were listed.
You can go to the below links that have a free credit score estimator.

In case there is something on their that is not yours like a foreclosed home, child support debt, repossessed cars, different addresses you have never lived at, wrong employer etc.
you can use this FICO score estimator

You are falling into the trap of credit score obsession. You don’t need it. What you DO need to to review your reports once each year to assure that the information in them is accurate. That is the purpose of.
